The mission of Geneva’s environmental information office is to provide the local population with information on matters connected with our everyday life and environment: mobility, water, waste, air, energy and local pollution. As far as waste disposal is concerned, our office organizes awareness campaigns on a regular basis and publishes information brochures.
In order to reach a wider audience, we have decided to launch special information campaigns for the non French-speaking community living in Geneva. The English version of our brochure on how to deal with household waste in an environmentally-friendly manner is the first in a series of publications we will be translating in the future. The brochure explains what to do with the various kinds of waste, the average household produces and shows how best to recycle them or dispose of them.
